Following the deadly flooding that struck Central Texas over the holiday weekend, God’s Pit Crew has mobilized a swift and compassionate response to bring relief and hope to those devastated by the disaster.
Multiple tractor-trailer loads of Blessing Buckets – five-gallon buckets filled with essential items such as water, shelf-stable food, hygiene products, cleaning supplies, Bibles, and more – have already been dispatched to impacted communities surrounding Kerr County. These life-sustaining resources are being distributed to flood survivors who have lost nearly everything.
In addition to supplying urgently needed relief items, God’s Pit Crew’s Immediate Response Team is actively working with assessors on the ground to evaluate the greatest areas of need. Volunteer crews will soon deploy to help with debris removal and cleanup efforts in affected neighborhoods.
“Our hearts break for the families and communities that have been devastated by this horrific flooding,” said Randy Johnson, God’s Pit Crew President. “We are committed to showing up with love, resources, and willing hands to help carry the burden of recovery. In every disaster, our mission remains the same – to bring hope, healing, and restoration through practical help, serving as the hands and feet of Christ.”
Those interested in joining the recovery efforts are encouraged to register at GodsPitCrew.org by clicking the “Volunteer” button to receive the most up-to-date deployment details and opportunities as they are announced.
As the need continues to grow, financial contributions are critically important to maintain inventory levels of Blessing Buckets and other relief supplies, ensuring God’s Pit Crew can respond rapidly wherever disaster strikes. Donations can be made securely at GodsPitCrew.org.
