(Danville, Va.) — The city of Danville has scheduled a brief power outage beginning at midnight tonight to allow for equipment repair at the Southside substation. About 4,000 customers in south Danville will lose power for about an hour while the substation is de-energized, the repair performed, and the substation re-energized.
