(Lynchburg, Va.) — Lynchburg Police are investigating a pair of shootings that happened early Sunday morning. The first was reported at 10th and Floyd Streets around 3:15. They were unable to locate a victim but were called to Lynchburg General after receiving a report that a man had gone to the ER with a gunshot wound. The 20-year-old was shot in the side of the head, and is being treated for non-life threatening injuries. He is not cooperating with police.

Lynchburg Police also responded to the 1000-block of Taylor Street early Sunday morning. Just after 5 a.m., they found a man who said he’d been walking in the street when he was shot. The 18-year-old was treated for a bullet wound to the leg. Both cases remain under investigation.
