(Danville, Va.) – Two people were shot in Danville late Thursday night, including a 13-year-old boy.

Police responded to SOVAH Health Danville at about 11 p.m. after receiving a report of two gunshot victims. According to police, both victims were shot in the 600 block of Cabell Street.

The 13-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to the back. Police say a 21-year-old was shot in the left arm. Neither of the wounds was thought to be life-threatening.

The victims could not provide any information about the shooter.

The Danville Police Department is continuing its investigation.
