(Martinsville, Va.) — The Henry County Sheriff’s office is looking an Axton man who is wanted in connection with a Monday morning shooting.

30-year-old David “Lobo” Donavon, Jr. is charged with malicious wounding, firing a gun in a home, use a firearm in a crime, and possessing a firearm as a convicted felon.

Investigators were called to the emergency room of SOVAH Health Martinsville around 2 a.m. after a woman arrived suffering from a gunshot wound in her left leg.

27-year-old Shawna Beamer of Bassett was treated and released.

Police say Donavon is armed and dangerous and are asking  anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the Henry County Sheriff’s Office.
