(Danville, Va.) — A Danville man is being sought  in a shooting that happened outside Sheetz on Riverside Drive early Thursday.

Amar Amonte Wilson, 19, is wanted for shooting into an occupied vehicle. Wilson is considered armed and dangerous.

Danville Police responded to a report of shots fired at Sheetz 3425 Riverside Drive at 12:46 Thursday morning.

An 18-year-old female was shot in the right side and had been been transported by family to SOVAH Health before officers arrived. She was treated for a non-life threatening injury and released from the hospital.
