(Henry County, Va.) – Students at a Henry County elementary school were placed under lockdown for 90 minutes Tuesday after school officials received a bomb threat.

Students at Stanleytown Elementary School were moved to the gym as deputies and K-9’s searched the building and grounds. Nothing was found and they were allowed to return to their classrooms later in the day.

According to deputies, a threatening message was discovered around noon and the Henry County Sheriff’s Office was notified.

Authorities say that they are confident that they have identified the person responsible for the incident but have not identified the individual.
