(Chatham, Va.) — Ben Farmer has officially been declared the winner in the Callands-Gretna race for the Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors. A recount certified by a 3-judge panel gave Farmer 1,403 votes to Barbara Hancock’s 1,389. Each candidate picked up one vote in Friday’s recount.
