(Danville, Va.) — Danville Public Works crews completed repairs to a broken water main on Southland Drive Tuesday afternoon, but water customers in the Southwyck Farms area are advised to use boiled tap water or bottled water for drinking, beverage and food preparation until further notice.

The notice is precautionary, but is necessary due to the eight-inch diameter water line along Southland Drive that was broken.
