(Danville, Va.) — Two Danville middle school students were treated for signs of drug use after emergency responders were called to Westwood Middle School Tuesday morning. The incident involved two boys – ages 14 and 15 – who were seen by the school nurse before being transported to SOVAH Health, where they were released following treatment. Both showed signs of drug use but investigators say there was no evidence that the drugs were taken on school property. Their parents were notified and no drugs were found.
