A Pittsylvania County teacher has been arrested for stalking a juvenile. According to the Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office, deputies received information about alleged inappropriate conduct involving a teacher towards a juvenile student. 

The Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office launched an investigation. As a result of the investigation, 45-year-old Whitney Barrett Farr was arrested and charged with stalking and a protective order was served.

Farr is currently in the Pittsylvania County Jail under no bond. The Pittsylvania County School District is cooperating with the investigation.

Online records list Farr as an English teacher at Chatham High School. He is scheduled to appear in court on October 15.
