
The FBI, United States Marshals Service (USMS), and Danville Crime Stoppers are offering a cash reward for information leading to the location and successful apprehension of Jerome Jermaine Davis, Jr.
A cash reward of $10,000 is being offered by the FBI, with the USMS offering $3,500. In addition, Danville Crime Stoppers is offering an additional $1,500 for a total of $15,000.
On October 28, 2021 the Danville Police Department responded to the 400 block of Bradley Road for calls of shots fired and a male being shot. Officers located Steve Gunter, 40, of Danville who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Davis, who was 43 at the time of the incident, is wanted for second degree murder and additional charges on an unrelated incident.
He should be considered armed and dangerous. Because the photograph is approximately five years old, Davis’ appearance may have changed.
