Chatham Hall announced on Monday that it has been selected to host the 2024 Virginia Independent School Athletic Association (VISAA) Girls Golf State Invitational. The invitational will take place at Tuscarora Country Club in Danville in May 2024.

“We are very excited for this opportunity for our student-athletes, our internal community, and Pittsylvania County and Danville,” said Director of Athletics Jeremy Eubank. “We have worked hard to give our students the opportunity to compete in golf, and to be able to host a state championship is a great honor.”

According to Eubank, this is the first ever high school state championship to be held in the Pittsylvania County area.

“Tuscarora has been the home course of the Turtles since 2022 and we look forward to having them host this event for us,” said Chatham Hall golf coach Zach Smith. “I’m glad we have this opportunity for our student-athletics to compete.”
