According to VDOT a tractor trailer crash in Pittsylvania County has closed all northbound lanes.  US-29 in Pittsylvania County, in the vicinity of the ramp at Business 29 North and South, motorists can expect delays. Traffic is being detoured off of US-29 North, onto Chalk Level Road (Route 685), then back onto US-29 North.

Update: The accident has been cleared and the northbound lanes of  US-29 are back open. No report of injuries at this time.
