The Rockingham County Department of Health reports lead hazards to children were found at Head Start on Lawsonville Avenue in Reidsville. According to Rockingham Now the hazards were primarily found on the exterior of the building in areas accessible to children. Department of Health officials made abatement recommendations to Rockingham County Schools which runs the Head Start program. Steps have been taken to minimize exposure and access to those areas.
