DANVILLE, Va. – Danville Police are looking for Gary Lee Henry, Jr. who is wanted on charges of aggravated malicious wounding, eluding police and hit and run.
A 31-year-old male called 911 after he was stabbed in the 400 block of Dula Street on June 21 about 1:30 a.m. The man told police that Henry stabbed him and then left in a burgundy sedan.
Officers located the burgundy sedan on West Main Street and led officers on a brief vehicle pursuit that ended in the 600 block of Edgewood Drive. The vehicle crashed into a fence and Henry ran from the scene. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate him.
The victim was taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition.
