RICHMOND, Va. – The Virginia Department of health is reporting 52 coronavirus-related deaths in the commonwealth as of Saturday morning. 390 people have been hospitalized.
There are now 12 COVID-19 cases in Danville. That’s up three from Friday and include a man in his 50s, a woman in her 30s, and another woman in her 50s. All are Danville residents.
Pittsylvania County is also reported its first confirmed case, a person in their 70s. The earlier death of a Gretna man, Landon Spradlin, occurred in North Carolina.
21,552 people have been tested throughout Virginia.
