PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. – Gretna Police are looking for the man who robbed a Food Lion in the northern end of Pittsylvania County just before 9 p.m. Saturday.
Police say a man wearing dark colored clothing, a black stocking cap and a blue bandana entered the Gretna Food Lion and took money from two cash registers.
The robber indicated he had a gun but no weapon was displayed.
He fled on foot and investigators believe he ran to a parked car.
Customers were in the store at the time but no one was harmed.
The suspect was a black male and stands about six feet.
