(South Boston, Va.) — A South Boston teen has been charged with firing multiple rounds in an exchange of gunfire but police say no one was injured.

The incident happened Monday morning on Traver Avenue in South Boston. Investigators say at least one car was struck by the gunfire. 19-year-old Harvey Johnson Jr. was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm as a convicted felon. He was taken to the Halifax Adult Detention Center and is being held without bond. He was arrested while trying to flee into a nearby home.

Police believe another individual was involved but have yet to locate that person.
