(Yanceyville, N.C.) — Marcus Jay Davis, a known member of the “ROLLIN 60s Crips” street gang, has been arrested in North Carolina and is being held on a murder charge from Danville.

Caswell County investigators arrested the 34-year-old Davis shortly before 1 a.m. Friday. He is charged with murder, attempted murder, racketeering conspiracy, and numerous counts of use of a firearm during the commission of these crimes.

Davis was spotted by the FBI and Danville Police about 4:15 Thursday afternoon and was pursued into the Ruffin community. He jumped from his car and ran into the woods but was located after an eight-hour manhunt involving federal, state and local authorities.

He is currently in the custody of the FBI.

The FBI announced last week that the agency was searching for Davis along with Tanasia Leshea Coleman, 21, both connected in the indictment to the Rolling 60s and the Millas street gangs.
