(Yanceyville, N.C.) – Two Danville men have been arrested in a connection with a weekend home invasion in Yanceyville, N.C.

The Caswell County Sheriff’s Department has charged Alfredo Antonio Myers, 39, and Steven Gilmore, 38, with burglary, forcible entry, robbery and kidnapping.

The incident happened Sunday morning on the Cherry Grove Road. Investigators say Myers and Gilmore forced their way into a home in Yanceyville, then abducted the residents and forced them to drive both to Eden. N.C.

Rockingham County officers spotted the car and took one of the men into custody during a traffic stop. The other was arrested a short time later.

The victims were not harmed during the abduction.

Myers and Gilmore are being held in the Caswell County Detention Center under a $500,000 bond. Both will answer the charges in Yanceyville District Court on Wednesday.
