Narrative Statement

In the past two years there have been two full time positions available.  The turnover rate is very low at Piedmont Broadcasting Cooperation because the seniority is greater than most other radio stations.  Our most senior manager retired after 29 ½ years.  The average employment tenure for the five most senior employees is now 35.6.  Our full-time employees average is 19.25 and all employees (full and part-time) have an average tenure of 15.31 years.  Our community is small with a very limited interest in broadcasting as a career.  Thus, it has been difficult to maintain a “pool of interest” on a consistent basis in spite of our many outreach efforts over the years.
