Tunstall High School Academic Boosters are having their annual Gospel Sing Saturday, March 15th at 7pm. The evenging will begin with a Silent Auction at 6pm. WCA Run/Walk/Fun Run
You can help the Leukemia Society and the Westover Christian Academy class of 2017 Saturday, March 22nd for their "Running 4 a Reason" event.
It all begins with a one mile Fun Run for Kids at 9am. Registration with t shirt is $15 and without is $10. This run is for kids up to 12 years old.
A 5K Run/Walk will start at 10am/ $25 for pre-registration and $30 the day of the race.
The Fun Run will be at Rugby Field at Angler's Park whle the 5K will take place on the scenic River Walk Trail from mile marker M to marker H and back.

A Conversation about Lung Cancer
Dr. Q. Bill Gai, Medical Oncologist and PhD will present, A Conversation About Lung Cancer on Tuesday, March 25, from 11:30am - 1pm, at Ballou Recreation Center, lower level, Danville. In this program Dr. Gai will focus on prevention, detection, and treatment of lung cancer, one of the leading cancers in our area. The program is part of the popular free Keeping Well in Mind, Body & Spirit Series for those concerned with cancer prevention and survivorship, and is open to the entire community. Everyone can benefit from the presentation. It is brought to the Dan River Region by the Cancer Resource Center of Southern Virginia in partnership with Danville Parks & Recreation, and with the support of Danville's Cancer Task Force.
