Following the night’s racing action, fans will be treated to a dazzling Fourth of July fireworks display that is annually one of the biggest and best in the area.

Practice will start Thursday at 2pm. and will go until 3pm. Grandstand gates will open at 4pm, qualifying time trials will start at 4:30pm and a special Fan Appreciation event will be held trackside at 5:45 pm. CLICK HERE FOR FULL DAY SCHEDULE

Adult general admission tickets are priced at $20 each. Youths ages 7-12 will be admitted for $10 when accompanied by a paying adult. Kids ages six and under will be admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult.

Martinsville Speedway Celebration 2014

Opening at 3pm




The 16th Annual Independence Day Celebration at Martinsville Speedway will offer more carnival rides than ever before and expanded hours for the rides and entertainment.
 
Celebration 2014, is scheduled for Thursday, July 3, and will begin at 3pm.
 
The entertainment portion of Celebration will also begin earlier in the day this year, starting at 4 pm. The bands will be announced in the next several weeks.
The free-to-the public event will also include the area's largest fireworks display which will begin around 10 pm.
 The carnival rides will include: Tempest, Paratrooper, Rock-O-Plane, Way-Out Swing, Helicopter Ride, Lovely Lady Bugs, Hampton Motorcycle Ride, Thomas the Train, Super Slide, Moser Drop Zone, Merry-Go-Round, Frolic, Super Trucks and Hog Drop.
 
Celebration 2014 once again is free to the public, with the cost of the event covered by generous donations from almost 40 area businesses, non-profits and local government. It is a non-alcoholic event with concessions available.





Danville Braves vs Burlington Royals
Thursday, July 3rd
Grandstand Gates Open at 4pm



Enjoy a summer tradition in Danville as the Danville Braves take on the Burlington Royals at home at Legion Field (in Dan Daniel Park).

After the exciting baseball action, stick around for an amazing fireworks display.

July 4th Celebration at the Carrington Pavilion
Thursday, July 4th
Beginning at 6pm



Spend July 4th in Danville among family and friends! Gates open at 6 pm at the Carrington Pavilion. The children's area will have free arts and crafts with magic provided by Marlo the Magician. Amusement rides will be available for a minimal fee. Entertainment will be provided by Danville Symphony Orchestra. Food concessions will be available. The Grand Fireworks Display will take place after dark (weather permitting).
