Danville Parks Recreation & Tourism and Festival In The Park will offer a Health Fair at the Ballou Park Nature Center. Festival goers will have the opportunity to get their blood pressure checked, sight and hearing screenings and get information on drug interactions and much more. |

The Brosville Volunteer Fire Department will host its 2nd annual Captain’s Choice golf tournament at Ray’s Creek Golf Course (formerly Glen Oak Country Club). The tournament is a 4-person captain’s choice format with shotgun start at 1:00pm. There will be an awards ceremony immediately afterwards with supper provided by Rock-Ola Café. The National Cancer Society Relay For Life is set for May 30th and 31st, and they’re looking for teams and individuals to participate this year. Teams are made of groups of 8 to 15 people; they can be families, schools, companies, hospitals and any other community group.
