Carol Metz and the More Music Morning Show
Wake up in a good mood with Carol Metz and the More Music Morning Show. Get the news and weather you need to start your day from our award winning news department... the latest dirt on your favorite Nashville stars and Hollywood celebs. There are more ways to win with the Birthday Bash and Carol's First Word, plus "Sports Guy" Hutch's Moron of the Day! The "More Music Morning Show" with Carol Metz, weekday mornings 6-10.

"Sports Guy" Hutch
This guy has the hardest job in the building. He has to be interesting and informative for 90 seconds, 3 times an hour, with Carol Metz on the "More Music Morning Show." He also brings a little insanity to the show with the "Moron of the Day" feature. The rest of the time he makes sure the coffee pot is empty and chats sports with Chuck.

Midday's with Alan Rowe
Hey, Alan won't pay ya, but he's a lot more fun to listen to than your boss. Get the most country for your workday, plus the latest on what your favorite country stars are doing. Alan has the inside track. Plus, take a break and request your favorite song with the "Lunch Tunes @ Noon." Middays with Alan: 10-3.

Afternoons with Sherri
It's so much fun, you'll take the long way home! Sherri plays the most back-to-back country for your ride home. Add to that the latest on the hottest country stars, the news & weather you need for the ride home, plus the Fast Five at Five... and Sherri makes getting off work even MORE fun!

"Big" Jon Talbott
It's "Mr. Classic Country" himself. His knowledge of classic country is almost as strong as his love and passion for the music and it's performers. You can catch "Big" Jon on every Saturday night on the "Cool Classics."

Blake
Yeah, you hear him all the time... weekends, overnights... it's because he was born without a last name and he's working to buy one! Most of the time you'll catch him cruising around in his Mustang or knockin' down the pins at the bowling alley. Believe it or not, we do let him have a little time off.

Super Dave
Faster than Dale Jr. in turn 2... stronger than cheap cologne... able to leap out of the hammock in a single bound... it's SUPER DAVE. Dave comes back to us from the planet of "Been Married a While." The love of his life isn't Lois Lane but Cari. (Remember, he proposed to her on the radio! What guts, he really IS the "man-of-steel" nerves.) When he's not saving the Piedmont from boring weekend radio, Dave and his 9 year-old mini-me (son) enjoy bowling, fishing, and - - of course, comic books. Look for Super Dave... not in the sky... but, "on-the-air" right here on WAKG.

Butch James
One of the original James gang who robbed trains in a previous life; Butch spends his life now playing songs on the radio. It's a lot less work than playing them on the road... which is what Butch did as lead singer for the Stallions. His years of road experience with artists like Alabama and George Jones, to name a few, adds up to a very intresting show. Catch Butch, weekends and on the road with WAKG.

Aaron
Aaron... or as we like to call him A-Ron, used to work in the fast food industry, so having this job is a piece of cake! During the week, he's one of our mild-mannered receptionist's; which happned by accident. He was hanging around the radio station during the week for free... but we figured we might as well pay him for it and let him sit at the front desk. So if you win a prize from Aaron on the weekend, more than likely he'll hand it to you when you pick it up.

Robin Hylton
She makes no bones about it... #8 is #1! Just ask her, she'll tell you. Late nights when you can't sleep or in the morning before Carol as your waking up for work, Robin will keep you company. Great for third shift workers and insomniacs. Robin's goal is to one day drive the #8 car into victory lane at the Daytona 500!
