Mel McDaniel dies at 68!

Such a sad day yesterday for country music with the loss of Mel McDaniel. Mel passed away after suffering a long battle with lung cancer.
Mel was a memeber of the of the Grand Ole Opry and one of the GREAT country legends!
I had the chance to meet Mel a couple of years ago here in Danville. He and his wife Peggy both were beyond kind. We sat on the bus and picked guitar and sang a few tunes.
Here are some of my favorite tunes from Mel, some you may have never heard. He will be missed by many. Pray for his family during this difficult time.
