It's been a while since I've sat down and written a new entry in my blog.
A lot has been going on, but what happened last night definitely is blog-worthy (the other things will just have to wait).
As you know, my nieces stay with us (my mom, dad and me) while my brother works on the road as a transfer truck driver. Amber is seven and Karah is five. They are two of the most fun children I have ever been around.
Wednesday night, Cliff and I took Karah bowling. We had a blast! I figured we'd take her to do something active and exciting since Amber has her dance recital this weekend.
Here's Karah pre-bowling trip with flowers she picked in her hair. She's soooo beautiful. :)

Here's the scores to ONE of our games.

Top Score: Mine
Middle Score: Karah's
Last Score: Cliff's
((I won every game.tehehe))
So, had great time with Karah Wednesday night.
Last night (Thursday), I had the pleasure of attending Amber's dance recital.
Even though I suffered from having "church laugh" during the other performances because the lady sitting beside my daddy kept shining a bright flash light on her program, I enjoyed the performances.
Then...Amber's class took the stage. They performed to "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." Daddy says I clutched my chest through the entire thing and kept going, "AWWWWW. AW" and gasping.
I was so proud!!!

She looked gorgeous! She's holding the flowers I snuck off and bought her.
Just thought I'd share my pride for my adorable nieces. They're truly a gift from God and I wouldn't trade our moments together for anything. :)
