Revival

The congregation of Woodlawn Baptist Church, 2500 Westover Drive, Danville, VA, invites you to Revival services with Evangelist Scott Smith. The services will be Sunday, August 30 - Wednesday, September 2. Sunday services will be at 11am and 6am. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evening services will be at 7pm. There will be special music each night. Everyone is cordially invited to come and be blessed. 
 
 

Cruise-In

You're invited to join in the fun on displaying your classic car or just admiring those participating in the monthly Cruise-In at Danville Mall.  Cruise-Ins will be 6pm - 9pm at the Danville Mall every first Saturday of the month through September.  Donations will be accepted on site to benefit the Danville Cancer Association.  For more information, contact Veronica at 434.792.0400.

Ashley Monroe

Monroe worked behind the scenes as both a songwriter and singer, having tunes appear on albums by Jason Aldean and Miranda Lambert while often singing sessions at Jack White's Third Man Records. Lambert turned out to be a pivotal connection for Monroe. The two became friends and, along with Angaleena Presley, formed Pistol Annies, whose 2011 eponymous debut became a significant hit. The success of Pistol Annies revived Monroe's solo career.
