Empty Bowls

Join God's Storehouse Food Pantry for their annual "Empty Bowls" fundraising event, Friday, February 24th from 11am - 2pm.  Tickets are $15 per person and include admission, a beautiful handmade pottery bowl and a simple meal of soup, crackers and water.  Proceeds from this even benefit famlies in need.  For ticket information, visit their Facebook event at: https://www.facebook.com/events/367328503635789

Brunswick Stew and Bake Sale

Laurel Grove Volunteer Fire & Rescue will have a stew & bake sale at the station,  Saturday, February 25th beginning at 9am.  The station is located at 2081 Laurel Grove Rd. He started learning to play a few country music riffs on the guitar from his father when he was 16, but soon formed a heavy metal band before returning to his country roots and recasting himself as a honky tonk balladeer in the late-2000s.
