Roanoke Police along with the FBI and U.S. Marshall’s office are working to locate Brown who is accused of second-degree murder of his mother’s live in boyfriend Rodney Brown last Saturday in Franklin County.  A vehicle owned by Brown was located in South Carolina Wednesday.  Officials cleared an RV that Brown was believed to have driven back to Virginia that was parked near St. Elizabeth Episcopal Church on Grandin Road this morning.

Michael Alexander Brown a former marine last stationed at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina, is said to be on foot and potentially using taxi’s and other ride shares like Uber.  Authorities believe that Brown is armed and dangerous, saying “he has access to shoulder-held, high capacity weapons. We can only assume that he has others.” Brown is trained to change location and maneuver and has not been afraid to alter his appearance according to Roanoke Police Chief Tim Jones.
