DANVILLE, Va. – Gerald Gibson has won another term as clerk of Danville Circuit Court after fending off two challengers.

Unofficial election returns show Gibson with 4,083 votes, followed by Charles Crumpler at 3,025 and Melissa Tuck with 2,811.

Crumpler conceded about an hour after the polls closed at 7 p.m.

The clerk serves an eight-year term.
