(Brosville, Va.) — The Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office says that no charges have yet been filed in Sunday’s murder of a Brosville woman.

In a news release late Tuesday, sheriff’s department spokesman Devin Taylor said only that investigators continue to review statements from witnesses and assess the forensic evidence recovered at the scene.

30-year-old Heather Matherly was found dead in her Gray’s Park Road home Sunday evening. Investigators haven’t said how she died.
