(Danville, Va.) — Officer Andrew M. Kenyi has received the 2018 Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) award for his outstanding efforts in Drunk Driving Enforcement (DUI) as an officer with the Danville Police Department.

Officer Kenyi led the Department in drunk driving arrests in 2017 while at the same time answering dispatched calls for service and remaining very active with his criminal and traffic law enforcement duties.

In March of this year Officer Kenyi transitioned to the Eden, North Carolina Police Department where he continues to serve that community.

At the 2018 Roanoke Area Law Enforcement Awards Ceremony, Officer Kenyi was accompanied by Eden Police Chief Greg Light and members of his staff.
