(Danville, Va.) — A Danville man has been charged with the armed robbery of six businesses in Danville, Bedford, and Rocky Mount.

33-year-old Justin Lee Stallings was named in a 14-count indictment charging him with six counts of robbery, six counts of using a firearm in commission of a robbery, and two additional felonies.

Stallings is charged with robbing the Dollar General Stores on South Main Street and Westover Drive in Danville; the KFC on Memorial Drive; and Charlie’s Stop N Shop on Westover. He is also charged with the armed robberies of Dollar General Stores in Bedford and Rocky Mount.

In each instance, police say Stallings pulled a gun and demanded cash or other goods from the register or store safe.
