(Randolph County, NC) – A man accused of abducting his biological daughter from Danville last month has waived extradition from North Carolina, where he has been jailed since his capture.  Carl Kennedy was arrested June 5 after an Amber Alert was issued for his daughter, Emma Grace whom Kennedy didn’t have custody of.  The pair were safely located in Randolph county and Kennedy has been jailed there since his arrest.  Kennedy’s attorney says he plans to resolve his charges in North Carolina before coming back to Virginia to face domestic assault and abduction charges.
