(Danville, Va.) — A 62-year-old Danville woman was shot Monday night.
Officers responded to SOVAH Health Hospital just before 11 p.m., where the victim was being treated for gunshot wounds to the right hand and left arm. The injuries were not life-threatening.
The woman told police she was shot in the 100 block of Hughes Street but was unable to provide a description of her attacker.
The Danville Police Department is continuing the investigation into the case.
