Former Person/Caswell County District Attorney Wallace Bradsher will serve four to 14 months in jail for obtaining property by false pretense and six to 17 months for felony obstruction of justice, which is suspended along with 24 months probation.

Bradsher’s license is suspended effective immediately. The judge in the case consolidated the misdemeanor charges Bradsher was facing into the obtaining property by false pretense charge.

Bradsher is planning to appeal the decision.

Former Rockingham County District Attorney Craig Blitzer along with Bradsher are accused of hiring each other’s spouses and paying CindyBlitzer , $48,000 for 15 months of work she did not perform while instead attending nursing school.

Blitzer has previously pleaded guilty in the case.
