(Martinsville, Va.) – Martinsville Police and Henry County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested 20 people named in drug and firearms indictments returned by a grand jury on Monday.

133 indictments name more than two dozen individuals charged as a result of an undercover operation. The charges involve sales and possession of oxycodone, meth, cocaine, marijuana and other controlled substances.

Forty one of the indictments have been served on 20 people, while indictments for  eight individuals remained sealed.

Virginia State Police assisted in the investigation, along with members of the Patrick County Sheriff’s Office, the U. S. Marshal’s Service, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
