(Danville, Va.) — Colby Stefan Deshazo was arrested Friday and is is currently being held in the Danville City Jail under no bond.

The 27-year-old is charged in the April 20 shooting and incendiary device incident at the Astoria Hotel on the Piney Forest Road in Danville.

Police were called to the Astoria about 9:30 that morning after two Molotov cocktails were thrown at a Chevy Impala.

Investigators said that the clerk at the front desk ran outside after hearing a pair of explosions. A shot was fired in her direction, but the bullet missed and struck the building. A spent shell casing was recovered at the scene.
