(Danville, Va.) — Danville Police are looking for a man who used another person’s name when he was arrested last week.

Police say Brian Lamont Terry, Jr. was taken into custody on April 26, but assumed Taquan Mikel Williamson’s identity at the time of his arrest.

The weekly arrest report posted Tuesday listed Williamson’s name but Terry’s picture was alongside it. They’re working now to clear Williamson’s name, while searching for Terry.

He’s wanted for failing to appear, obtaining money by false pretense, unauthorized use of a vehicle, and for violating his probation.

Additional charges are pending, including possessing marijuana, identity theft, felony shoplifting, and possessing a concealed weapon.
