(Danville, Va.) – Fire gutted a trailer on Lynch Street Tuesday morning.

The Danville Fire Department responded to 136 Lynch Street just after 5 a.m. Crews arrived and found heavy smoke and fire coming from the rear of a single-wide trailer.

The fire was knocked down and under control at 5:32 am. The mobile home sustained heavy fire and smoke damage throughout. The trailer was unoccupied at the time of the fire.

The cause is being investigated by the fire marshal’s office. No injuries were reported to firefighters.

Three engines, a ladder truck and a command unit were on the scene for two hours.
