(Pittsylvania County, Va.) – A man entered Ricky’s Market on the Mount Cross Road, pulled a gun on the clerk, and made off with money from the register.

The Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office responded to the robbery call early Tuesday morning. The lone gunman entered the business at 3120 Mount Cross Road, produced a handgun, and demanded money. He fled after getting an undisclosed amount of cash.

Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s deputies, investigators, K-9 units and the county’s Crime Scene Unit responded but were unable to track the robber.
