Martinsville, VA – Danville’s Timothy Peters won his second grandfather clock at Martinsville Speedway as he finished first in the ValleyStar 300 Saturday night.  It was Martinsville’s first race run “under the lights”.  The victory also earned Peters the 2017 Virginia Triple Crown, which is given to the driver with the highest average finish at Martinsville, South Boston and Langley Speedways.  It’s the third time Peters has won this award. Peyton Sellers, also of Danville, came in third in Saturday night’s race.
