Boil water advisory lifted in Chatham

(Chatham, Va.) — A boil water advisory issued last week has been lifted for the town of Chatham.
While the broken water main that prompted the advisory has been repaired, Public Works Director Rodney Bryant said the advisory remained in effect until local officials received the results of lab analysis of water samples. The Virginia Department of Health lifted the advisory early Monday morning.
The notice was first issued on Friday.
